Spoolzify ("the App") is designed to be a user-centric 3D printing filament inventory management tool with privacy as our priority. This policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Information Collection and Use

By default, all data you enter—including filament brands, types, colors, weights, and prices—is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit this data to our own servers.

2. Cloud Synchronization (Optional)

If you choose to use the Sign In with Google feature:

• Your inventory data is synchronized with Google Firebase (Firestore) to enable automatic backup and multi-device access.
• This data is stored securely in a private database instance and is associated only with your Google account ID.
• We do not share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for tracking or advertising purposes.

3. Device Permissions

The App requires specific permissions to function correctly:

• Camera: Used solely for scanning QR/Barcodes to identify filaments and for taking photos of your spools for visual reference. Images are stored in the app's private storage.
• Internet: Required for optional cloud synchronization and Google authentication.
• Storage/Files: Used only when you explicitly choose to "Export" or "Import" your inventory data (JSON format).

4. Data Security

For local data, security depends on your device's security features (e.g., screen locks). For cloud data, synchronization is protected by Google’s industry-standard authentication and encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Third-Party Services

Spoolzify utilizes the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services: For authentication and app updates.
• Firebase Firestore: For optional cloud storage and synchronization.

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

6. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete your inventory records directly within the app at any time. If you use cloud sync, deleting a record in the app will also remove it from the cloud database.
